Family Vacation Bible School: To Mars and Beyond

First Lutheran Church, 1555 40th Ave. NE, Columbia Heights. Monday, June 17-Friday, June 21. Dinner for the whole family at 5 pm, and program 5:45-7:45 pm. Blast off with the first VBS to land on Mars. To Mars and Beyond will help kids and families discover the wonders of God’s universe. Together, parents and kids will become voyagers on a journey through space, exploring where God’s power can take them. Cost: $10/person, scholarships available. Friday, June 21, 8 pm: Star Party with Mike Lynch. Meet for a bonfire and s’mores in the church courtyard, followed by a star-watching party with Astronomer Mike Lynch. Free to all.
