“far away, deep inside” at CIRCA Gallery

CIRCA Gallery, 1125 Buchanan St. NE, presents the first major solo show of Devra Freelander’s sculpture, photographs, video and performance work in “far away, deep inside,” on view through Dec. 20.

The exhibit brings together a selection of Freelander’s sculptures, collaborative projects, and a performative video work filmed in the Arctic from which the exhibition takes its title. It also includes pieces Freelander created in collaboration with photographer Gregory Wikstrom (New York, NY, b. 1990) and sculptor Gracelee Lawrence (Sanford, NC, b. 1989).
