First Dates CD release show at 612 Brew

Minneapolis-based instrumental duo Aaron Rosell and Shawn Bortel, of First Dates, will have a release show, Friday, Sept. 23, 6-8 p.m., at 612Brew, 945 Broadway St. NE. Special guests will open the show at 6 p.m., with First Dates taking the stage at 7 p.m. to showcase their debut album, “Awkward Conversations.” First Dates makes post-rock music rooted in ambient, soaring soundscapes and percussive arrangements.
