Free community acupuncture for BIPOC individuals

NE Wellness, 1224 Second St. NE, offers free community acupuncture treatments Saturday, Sept. 12, noon-3 pm. Seated alongside other members of the community, participants will receive a personalized, distal acupuncture treatment—needle from the knees down, from the elbows down, in the ears, face, and head—and can relax for 30 to 60 minutes.

NE wellness is wheelchair-accessible, located on the first floor of the building. Free street-parking. Masks and appointments are required to enter the building. Note: this event is open to all but is intentionally hosted to serve BIPOC or low-income individuals as part of NE Wellness’ commitment to anti-racism, inclusion, and equity in wellness.
