Free showing of “Out in the Cold” documentary

If you would like to learn more about those experiencing homelessness in Minneapolis or learn about local community partners who are reaching out to our neighbors in need, there will be a free showing of, “Out in the Cold” on Thursday, Aug. 4, 7-9 p.m. at Hope Avenue, 685 13th Ave. NE. It’s a documentary about two men who spend a week experiencing homelessness first-hand in Minnesota, in February. This showing is co-hosted by these local community partners: Mile in My Shoes http://www.mileinmyshoes.mn/ , Hope Avenue: http://elimchurch.com/hope-avenue/ and Restore Community: a Northeast community group focused on building relationships with those experiencing homelessness in our city.
