Our River Campaign

Friends of the Mississippi River (FMR) is excited to unveil the Our River Campaign, an effort to ensure the health of the Mississippi River and the well-being of the communities it serves. While the impact will be transformational for communities along the river’s 2,350-mile route, it all starts here. It is the lifeblood of our region, flowing through the Twin Cities. Locally, FMR is growing its reserve to restore critical ecological land along the river and its tributaries in the Twin Cities metro, expand hands-on volunteer stewardship opportunities and strengthen their base of river advocates. FMR also plans to expand its youth programs to train and inspire the next generation of diverse environmental leaders. Donate at fmr.org/our-river
