Garden Tool Swap

Head to Logan Park, 690 13th Ave. NE, or Audubon Park, 1320 29th Ave NE, on Saturday, May 3, for a Garden Tool Swap. Logan Park’s tool swap will run, 9 am-noon; Audubon’s will be held 11 am-2 pm, in conjunction with its Spring Festival. Usable items for swapping include garden and yard tools (shovels, trowels, rakes, pitchforks, hoses, etc.); pots and planters (wood, terracotta, decorative plastic), free of any soil or dirt; potting soil/mix (unused, bagged); gardening and plant books; garden art and décor; bird houses and feeders. Make sure items are clean. All items are intended to be given and taken freely. Minneapolis Solid Waste & Recycling will take any unclaimed items to community gardens or distribute them through local exchange groups after the event is over.
