Gardening Matters plant distribution day

Gardening Matters, an independent organization dedicated to community gardeners, is having plant distribution events for members throughout the city, Saturday, May 14, including at St. Olaf Community Campus, 2901 Emerson Ave. N., 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

Gardener memberships are based on the level of involvement a gardener wants in the gardening community. In addition to receiving seeds and plants, members are invited to neighborhood “gardening socials” to meet each other and talk gardens. Membership fees can be met in a variety of ways, making the program accessible to all income levels.
