HeightsNEXT fall cleanup

Gather at the Columbia Heights Public Library at 9 am Saturday, Oct. 12, to get safety vests, garbage bags and street assignments. Park assignments are made for families with young children who participate. Each group goes to their area and safely picks up trash from the sidewalks and vegetation along the sidewalks (or park). Dress for the weather. Wear gloves to pick up trash safely. The event will be canceled if there is dangerous weather, but otherwise, it’s held rain or shine.
