Help decide the future of Northeast Park tennis courts

Northeast Park Neighborhood Association (NEPNA) will have a Zoom community meeting, Thursday, May 13, at 6:30 pm, to discuss funding for the tennis courts at Northeast Athletic Field Park. NEPNA learned through conversations with the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board and neighbors, that the tennis courts are in need of repair, but there is no funding in the park’s master plan in the next ten years to repair the courts.

NEPNA has discussed allocating $100,000 for rehabbing the courts in conjunction with a contract with the City that ensures they will maintain the courts.
