Holiday Train rolls in Dec. 11

The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will make its 20th annual stop at the intersection of Columbia Heights, St. Anthony and Minneapolis (Stinson Blvd. and 37th Avenue NE) at 8 pm. Dec. 11. Pre-arrival festivities begin at 7 pm, including bonfires, s’mores, and refreshments. The train arrives at 8, with a free concert from 8:15-8:45 pm. Meghan Patrick, Tanika Charles and Kelly Prescott will perform. This event benefits East Side Neighborhood Services’ food shelves. The Holiday Train viewing and concert are free, but your cash or healthy food donations support local families in need. ESNS suggests a gift of $5 to help feed neighbors in your community.
