Holland Neighborhood meeting

The Holland Neighborhood Improvement Association (HNIA) will have a general membership meeting and Plan Modification/Funds Transfer vote, Thursday, Aug. 11, at 7 p.m., at the Firefighters Hall and Museum, 664 22nd Ave. NE.

Participants can meet neighbors and learn about and weigh in on neighborhood programs and initiatives. This month participants will hear from the Bottineau Neighborhood Association about work they’re doing surrounding the impacts of and solutions regarding pollution from industry located on the Mississippi River near the Lowry Avenue Bridge. The HNIA Board is requesting a membership vote on a proposal to shift $34,234 from two unused NRP Phase I strategies into the NRP Phase II Green Campus strategy.
