Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1621 University Ave. NE, will present a series of virtual organ recitals for the season of Advent. Programs will be broadcast at 5:30 pm on Sundays, Dec. 6, 13, and 20, at ourholycross.org/musical-offerings-and-concerts.
Christopher Ganza will open the series on Dec. 6. Samuel Backman will continue the series on Dec. 13 with a program with music of Vierne, Jongen, Cabanilles, Mendelssohn, and Elgar. And on Dec. 20, Jacob Benda will conclude by performing the music of Paulus, Mader, Bach, Bednall, and Franck.
