Interfaith Community meals during Ramadan
Event Navigation
People of all faiths are invited to experience one of several Ramadan open house dinners organized as part of the Minnesota Council of Churches and mosques in Minnesota’s “Taking Heart” program. Ramadan is the month on the Islamic lunar calendar during which Muslims abstain from food and drink from sunup to sundown. Each day the fast is broken at sundown with a meal called Iftar. Local dinners will be: Wednesday, June 8, 7:30 p.m., at Niagara Foundation/TASMIN, 999 50th Ave.; and Saturday, June 11 at 6:45 p.m. (registration), at Masjid Al-Iman, 1429 Second St. NE. Events are free and open to the public but registration is required. For more information or to register, visit bit.ly/takingheart.
