May 1, 6:30-8:30 pm, Minnesota Tool Library, 1620 Central Ave. NE, Thorp Bldg. Suite 126. Become familiar with the NE Mpls branch of the Minnesota Tool Library and learn how to use the machines confidently and safely. No experience necessary. This is an introduction to woodworking and a nice refresher if you’d like to re-familiarize yourself with shop use. We will cover the safe setup and operation of the jointer, planer, table saw, miter saw, belt/spindle sanders, band saw and drill press. The class size is small so there will be plenty of time for questions and to try each tool. Leave with the skills necessary to use the Tool library workshop safely and with confidence. Guest rate: $25; MTL Member Rate:$16. Reserve your spot by purchasing tickets at: MNToolLibrary.simpletix.com
