Invasive plant removal and restoration

Join the Sheridan Neighborhood Organization and Friends of the Mississippi River to help preserve the banks of the Mississippi River. Learn about invasive species, help remove them and plant native species to restore the river bank. Tending and removal will be Thursday, Sept. 7 and planting will be Wednesday, Sept. 20, both 6-8 pm. Meet at Sheridan Memorial Park, 1300 Water St. NE (by the memorial); parking available in the lot next to the park. Sponsored by Mississippi Watershed Management Organization.
