Johnson Street Halloween Week

There’s nothing normal about 2020 and Halloween is no exception. Usually the businesses at 29th and Johnson welcome trick-or-treaters on Halloween night, but this year the Johnson Street Merchants Association will do the ultimate in a social distancing Halloween event: they’re having a “Johnson Street Ghost Hunt.”
Various businesses from 29th to 27th on Johnson will display the “ghosty” image from their familiar “Boo” poster, decorated in unique ways. Visit the businesses displaying a ghost anytime from Monday, Oct. 26 through Saturday, Oct.31 and take a picture of your child (in costume or not – your choice) with the Ghost.
Upload your picture to the Johnson Street Merchants Association Facebook page (names optional): facebook.com/JohnsonStreetMerchants/. And then, watch for future issues of the Northeaster newspaper and maybe you will see your child’s smiling face — we’ll choose one or more. (Posting means giving permission to use in the paper.)
