Charcoal au Plein Air: Friday, July 8, 10 am. “Au Plein Air” is a French phrase that refers to the practice of drawing and painting outside. Learn from an artist instructor how to draw from real life subjects out in the natural world in this fun, seasonal program. This program is funded by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. Conversation Circle: Mondays, 5:30-6:30 pm and Thursdays, 2-3 pm. Conversation Circle is a casual gathering of English-language adult learners who meet at the library to practice their speaking skills in a group setting with help from an English-speaking volunteer.
