Volunteers and friends of Whisker Rescue will have about a dozen kittens from various litters, along with an assortment of adult cats, available for adoption at a Kitten Extravaganza event at the Quarry PetSmart Saturday, Nov. 18 from noon to 3 p.m. Applications, available on Petfinder.com, are recommended so that potential adopters can be screened before meeting the cats. To view the cats, go to Petfinder.com and put “Whisker” Rescue under “Shelter or Rescue” in the search criteria (choose the one in Spring Lake Park). Or just come to the event at 1640 New Brighton Blvd. to see which kitties you connect with.
