Kroening Interpretive Center activities

North Mississippi Weekends, explore a different seasonal theme in the park each weekend for free. ‘Like’ North Mississippi Regional Park on Facebook to discover each weekend’s themes and stay in the loop about what’s happening in the park.

Naturalist’s Nature Table, Saturdays, 11 a.m.-3 p.m., stop by the Nature Table to learn more about each weekly topic, with a naturalist, through activities and a craft.

Family Funday, Sundays, 12:30-3:30 p.m., learn and enjoy nature while spending quality time as a family.

Nature’s Black Friday Fun, Friday, Nov. 25, 11 a.m.-3 p.m., ditch the mall crawl and opt outside this year. The park will have both naturalist-led and self-guided nature exploration activities. Hike, build a fort, go on a scavenger hunt, play games, and more. Free, for all ages. Registration is required.

Arts and Animals, Sunday, Nov. 27, 1-3 p.m., meet some Minnesota animals up-close, get inspired by nature’s beauty, and make art to take home. Free, for all ages. Registration is required.
