Language Central fundraiser

Language Central hosts its annual fundraiser, Friday, Nov. 15, 5:30-8:30 pm, at the school, 2300 Central Ave. NE. There will be an art show including photo prints, dog tugs, and other crafts for sale. Participants can tour the school, taste foods and drinks from all over the world (provided by the students). Test your ability to pass a citizenship interview, and support your immigrant and refugee neighbors.

Language Central serves immigrants and refugees in the Northeast Minneapolis community by providing English and citizenship classes. The organization also provides Spanish and Somali classes as well as a Spanish Language Training Program for firefighters and police officers. Those who can’t attend, can donate at languagecentral.us.
