Latinx community listening session

Join elected leaders and local Latino organizations in a hybrid event to strengthen community ties. Thursday, April 21, 6-7 pm. This listening session is hosted by Columbia Heights Mayor Amáda Márquez Simula and Father James of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and School, 4030 Jackson St NE. The mayor’s goal in these meetings is to strengthen Heights’ Latino communidad by spending time together listening and sharing, helping elected officials and organizations learn what the community needs and help make the city more welcoming, responsive, and equitable to BIPOC familia.
