Taste of Liberia 2018, the second annual Liberian Food and Cultural Festival, will be Saturday, Sept. 8, 2-9 pm, at the Food Building, 1401 Marshall St. NE. Participants at the free event can enjoy a Taste of Liberia “Taste-Off” and sample Liberian dishes from local restaurants and vendors. There also will be arts, culture, music, traditional Liberian gifts and crafts, and fun and activities for the entire family. All are welcome. Info and rsvp: tasteofliberia.com.
