Explore the Northeast Minneapolis Arts and Craft Community, Wednesday, Feb. 1, 5:30-7 pm, American Craft Council Library, 1224 Marshall St. NE, Suite 200. Josh Blanc of Clay Squared to Infinity and chair of the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District will speak about the special history of Northeast Minneapolis that led to it becoming one of the top arts districts in the nation (named “Best Arts District” in USA Today’s 10 Best Readers’ Choice 2022). ACC Librarian Beth Goodrich will highlight the files of some of our favorite Minnesota artists, including Warren MacKenzie, James Tanner, Judy Onofrio and Mark Laub. Guests are also invited to explore the Minnesota Crafts Council newsletters, tour the library, check out the book sale and enjoy light refreshments. Confirm your attendance at himdad@craftcouncil.org.
