“Livable Lowry” meeting

Hennepin County is updating the roadway design for Lowry Avenue (County Road 153) between Marshall and Johnson streets in Northeast Minneapolis for construction beginning in 2023. The goal is to make the corridor safer, welcoming and overall more livable to all users by implementing bicycle and pedestrian facilities and enhancing the streetscape to support a vibrant small business corridor. Join project staff on Thursday, Dec. 9, 6-8 pm for the Livable Lowry – Lowry Avenue reconstruction virtual public workshop to learn more about the design layout concepts for the 1.7-mile corridor. This virtual workshop will be hosted via Zoom at bit.ly/LivableLowry with interpretation in English and Spanish.
