There will be open exhibit hours for “London Calling,” an interactive art exhibit by Minneapolis artist Linda Clayton, at the Northrup King Building, 1500 Jackson St. NE, Studio 390, Saturday, May 11, noon-4 pm, and through Art-A-Whirl, Friday, May 17, 5-10 pm, Saturday, May 18, noon-8pm, and Sunday, May 19, noon-5 pm.
The exhibit includes a series of paintings inspired by music from the U.K. that address love, heartbreak, strength, vulnerability, and humor. Each painting is displayed with headphones available for the viewer to listen to the song that inspired it.
