“Love is a Verb” at Northeast United Methodist

Everyone is invited to a screening of “Love is a Verb,” Thursday, June 9, 7:30-9 p.m., at Northeast United Methodist Church, 2510 Cleveland St. NE. The documentary is on the work of Fethullah Gulen, a Muslim scholar and humanitarian, and the global movement that he inspired called Hizmet, the Turkish word for service. The movement is active in various areas, from education and inter-religious dialog to humanitarian aid, in more than 165 countries around the world. Light refreshments will be provided.
