MinnAnim8 (MinnAnimate 8), the eighth annual showcase of Minnesota-made animation, will be Thursday, Sept. 12, at the Film Society of Minneapolis and St. Paul, St. Anthony Main Theatre, 125 Main St. SE.
The event will include screenings of films created by youth, students, and independent animators and an opportunity to meet the makers and ask them about their work. The Youth/Student Showcase begins at 6:45 pm and the Independent Animation Showcase begins at 7:30 pm. Each screening will be followed by a short Q&A with the filmmakers.
