Minneapolis Public Schools free meal box program
Event Navigation
Through the Minneapolis Public Schools’ (MPS) free meal box program, families with children under the age of 18 can pick up a free meal box for each child every week. Children do not need to be enrolled with MPS. There are currently 29 pick up locations at MPS sites across the city, several in Northeast.
All meals meet MPS’ standards for nutrition and quality ingredients. Families can pick-up meal boxes Monday-Friday (school days). Most sites are open 11 am-3 pm, and a handful of sites have extended hours of 11 am-5 pm. Youth, parents, or siblings can pick up one box for each child in their family, per week.
