Meet Minneapolis will hold a free, family-friendly Minneapolis Sister Cities event, Sunday, July 21, 1-5 pm, at Nicollet Island Pavilion, 40 Power St.
The event will celebrate all 12 of the Minneapolis Sister Cities with free ice-cream, music, multi-cultural entertainment, and children’s activities. The entertainment will include a special program, at 2 pm, celebrating the 10th anniversary of Minneapolis’ relationship with Najaf, Iraq. Info: minneapolis.org/about-us/sister-cities/.
