MinnPost festival at 1893 Grain Belt

MinnPost, a nonprofit, nonpartisan digital news enterprise, will hold its MinnPost Festival Friday, Sept. 22 and Saturday, Sept. 23 at the 1893 Grain Belt, 1215 Marshall St. NE. Some sessions are paid; others are free. Friday, will feature a reception and keynote from Samantha Bee. The award-winning comedian and late night host discusses the political and media landscape shaping our country today. Saturday will be a day-long event, with sessions about civic life in 2023. Sessions include a conversation with Gov. Tim Walz (free session), Third-Culture Cuisine in Minnesota (paid session), Black Entrepreneurship in Minnesota (free session), AI in Minnesota (paid session), Main Street Renaissance in Greater Minnesota (paid session), the Minneapolis Sound, from Prince to today (free session) and Black Maternal Health in Minnesota (paid session). All-access festival passes are $85, with discounts available for MinnPost members, educators, nonprofit and government professionals and students.
