Join soprano Sarah Jackson and Lutenist Thomas Walker Jr. on Sunday, Feb. 20, 3 pm, for a concert of sacred works for voice and lute at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1621 University Ave. NE. The program will feature transcendent works by Baroque and Renaissance composers Monteverdi, Kapsperger, Lassus, Morales, Josquin, and more. This concert looks ahead to the Lenten season with its themes of personal repentance and a desire for internal renewal. Admission is free of charge and there is ample parking.
