Mississippi River care at Father Hennepin Bluffs Park

Help clean up the riverfront Saturdays, Oct.26, and Nov. 2, 9 am-noon. Meet at the corner of 3rd Ave. SE and Main St. SE, across from the Pillsbury A-Mill. Walk down the “Lower Trail” stairs across from the mill and you will see the sign-in area in the clearing below Main St. SE, by the 3rd Ave. SE road to the U of M lab. Sign-in, learn about the area and activities, meet other volunteers and receive tools and supplies for the event. Bring a water bottle and wear weather-appropriate clothing (rain gear as needed). Closed-toe shoes will protect your feet, and long pants will protect your legs from brush. If you have long hair, a hat or other hair restraint is recommended. Bring bug spray and sunscreen.
