Artist Terri Wentzka, who teaches art and journaling at her Northrup King studio, 1500 Jackson St. NE, is offering mother (or grandmother or aunt) and daughter (ages 9-12) class Friday, Aug. 16.
Participants will make and decorate journals that can be used for sketching and writing. Wentzka will also lead a discussion on the impact of women artists and will provide information on several contemporary women painters from a variety of cultural backgrounds. The cost is $150 per pair (including materials). Space is limited. Advanced registration is required: naturalhistoryarts.com.
