Mt. Carmel 90th Anniversary events

Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church, 1701 St. Anthony Parkway, will conclude celebration and recognition of their fall 90th Anniversary with final events scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 30, Reformation Sunday. There will be a 9:30 a.m. celebratory worship service, followed by refreshments and a special intergenerational forum to start the day.
At 12:30 p.m. there will be an opportunity to celebrate the history of Mt. Carmel with a luncheon and program at Jax Cafe, featuring Pastor Rod Anderson as keynote speaker. Pastor Anderson served his first call at Mt. Carmel as associate pastor from 1974-1977, before he began a new mission congregation St. Andrew in Eden Prairie.
