The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board will host Music and Movies in the Parks throughout the summer to provide park users and residents with free entertainment in their community.
The music series will run seven days a week from Memorial Day through Labor Day at two Northeast venues: Nicollet Island Park, 40 Power St., Mondays at 7 pm, and Father Hennepin Bluff Park, 420 Main St. SE, Tuesdays at 7 pm.
Movies take place Monday through Saturday, starting 15 minutes after sunset, at more than 30 parks throughout the city.
