Nature Connections series for 55+

Northeast Recreation Center, 1530 Johnson St. NE, is offering a Nature Connections series, through Feb. 14, for residents who are 55 and older. The free activities are funded with a Walt Dziedzic grant. Participants can attend just one class or all activities, which include:
Walking and Snowshoeing, Tuesday, Jan. 28, 11 am-noon, 108797;
Indoors: Birdwatching, Friday, Jan. 31, 2-3 pm, # 108804;
Walking Group, Tree ID Focus, Tuesday, Feb. 4, 11 am-noon, 108799;
Indoors: Growing House Plants/Herbs, Friday, Feb. 7, 2-3 pm, 108806;
Walking and Snowshoeing, Tuesday, Feb. 11, 11 am-noon, 108798; and
Indoors: Floral Arranging, Friday, Feb. 14, 2-3 pm, 108803.
