Spring Into Spring with Kolman & Pryor Gallery

Upcoming Spring Show: Nature’s Way: At a time when being outside, taking long walks in local or state parks or even through one’s neighborhood has been a balm for the soul, nature has never seemed more of a blessing. To celebrate nature’s balm and calm, and the sense of discovery and refreshment nature gives us, Kolman & Pryor Gallery announces its spring exhibition, Nature’s Way. Curated by gallery co-founder Patrick Pryor, with works by gallery artists Betsy Ruth Byers, Kate Casanova, Jil Evans, Kelly Jean Ohl, Jodi Reeb, Julie Snidle, and Cameron Zebrun, the exhibition begins Saturday, April 10 and runs through Saturday, June 19. An artist reception will be held on Saturday, April 17,  7-9 pm, during Northrup King Nights, the Northrup King Building’s quarterly open studio evening. The Color Series: Part 4, Orange Continues Through April 3: Jil Evans is fascinated with light and color. In Flash 2, one of Jil’s three orange-inspired paintings, she captures the light and energy of summer’s mid-day sun. To complement Jil’s vibrant use of different hues of orange, they have hung her artwork on one of their two walls they painted orange just for The Color Series: Part 4, Orange. You can see Jil’s painting and the the entire exhibition through Saturday, April 3.
