The Northeast Community Band will perform its first concert of the 2023-24 season on Thursday, Nov. 2, 7 pm at South High School, 3131 19th Ave. S. Selections will include Eric Whitaker’s “October,” Travis Cross’ “And the grass sings in the meadows” and “Nobles of the Mystic Shrine” by John Philip Sousa, among others. Free.
