NE Community Band holiday concert–RESCHEDULED

The Northeast Community Band will present its holiday concert at Edison High School, 700 22nd Avenue NE, Thursday, Jan. 5, 2023. The concert will begin at 7 pm. Selections will include old chestnuts such as Leroy Anderson’s “Sleigh Ride” and “Auld Lang Syne,” as well as special reading of “The Night Before Christmas.” The concert is free, although the band will hold a raffle of a handmade wooden music stand for its Ralph Sowden Memorial Scholarship, which provides financial assistance to an Edison senior who will continue their music experience after high school. Refreshments will be served post-concert.
