NEMAA’s 10×10 and 10×10+

This year, the Northeast Minneapolis Arts Association (NEMAA) is hosting their annual online sale of member artwork that is 10×10 inches or smaller for sale online for $45 (all proceeds go to NEMAA) and is also hosting a new in-person ticketed celebration featuring performances, artwork (priced by the artist with proceeds split in half with NEMAA), and surprises at Theatre in the Round.

The 10×10 online shop goes live on Thursday, Sept. 21, 5 pm. Artwork collectors can purchase an early access code to get first dibs on artwork at 4 pm, one hour ahead of the public. Codes are on sale for $75 now until Sept. 1, when the price will go up to $100.

10×10+ will be held at the Theater in the Round, 245 Cedar Ave., Thursday, Sept. 28. VIP Experience ($100), 5:30-7 pm includes first dibs on original art made by members, complimentary taco bar and drink tickets courtesy of Centro, free parking with validation in the 7 Corners parking ramp, a behind-the-scenes look at Theatre in the Round, free 10×10+ button keepsake, selfie station on the set of Arsenic and Old Lace, live music from Dresses with Pockets and a DJ set from Minneapolis council member Elliott Payne. General admission is $10 and includes a cash bar, $5 parking with validation for 7 Corners ramp, the selfie station, live music and DJ set as well as the opportunity to purchase art.
