“Nordeast Nest” Passive House workshops and open house

TE Studio, Ltd. is hosting free workshops and a tour of “Nordeast Nest,” 2335 McKinley St. NE, a low-energy home with Passive House components, Saturday, Nov. 12, as part of 2016 International Passive House Days. The tour will be open 10 a.m.-5 p.m., with workshops 10 a.m.-noon. The home was on the Minneapolis & Saint Paul Home Tour last year, so if you missed it or want more detailed information, this is a good opportunity.

Since 2010, TE Studio has joined forces with clients to participate in International Passive House Days, which occurs each November to educate the public on high-performance buildings. Workshops will include: Passive House introduction; Passive House building envelope; Passive House windows; balanced heat recovery ventilation; heatpump heating, cooling and dehumidification; and eco-friendly finishes, appliances, and lighting.
