Several Northeast artists are participating in Art to Change the World’s non-traditional exhibit, “See. Say. DO.,” which includes 11 days of diverse programming, Oct. 4-14, at Squirrel Haus, 3450 Snelling Ave., an arts and community space in the Longfellow neighborhood. The Public Opening Night will be Saturday, Oct. 6, 7-10 pm, with the artists in attendance.
Participating artist who live or have a studio in Northeast Minneapolis include: Barbara Bridges, Craig Harris, Anne Kleinhenz, Candy Kuehn, Layl McDill, Rebecca Ratzlaff, and Barry Scanlon.
Art to Change the World is a diverse coalition of artists, educators, scientists, topic experts, and other change makers who have joined forces in service of positive social change. The exhibit will include workshops, performances with pre/post discussions, a Pop-Up “Take Action” performance evening, and a Non-Profit Networking night. Tickets are available online for ticketed events, but most events are pay-what-you-can and are open to the public. Info: arttochangetheworld.org/events-b/.
