Northeast business and community awards

The Northeast Minneapolis Chamber of Commerce and the East Minneapolis Exchange Club will have “An Evening of Business & Community Awards,” to honor those that serve and support our community, Thursday, Oct. 27, 5-7 p.m., at Jax Café, 1928 University Ave. NE. Award winners who will be honored include: 2016 Officer of the Year – Officer Roland Hillstrom; Book of Golden Deeds Award – Bob DeBoer; 2016 Northeast Business Award – FOOD BUILDING, Fair State Brewing Cooperative, and Northeast Farmers Market; and President’s Award – Susan O’Reilly.
