The Northeast Minneapolis Chamber of Commerce and the East Minneapolis Exchange Club will have “An Evening of Business and Community Awards,” to honor those who serve and support our community, Thursday, Oct. 18, 5-7 p.m., at Jax Café, 1928 University Ave. NE.
The celebration will include complimentary appetizers, a silent auction, and a cash raffle. Proceeds will help support the Second Precinct’s Officer of the Month Awards. Admission is $30. Registration is required: minneapolischamber.org/necelebration, or Christine Levens at 612-370-9131.
