Northeast Community Band concert–Change of venue

The Northeast Community Band will perform a free fall concert  Thursday, Oct. 20, at Edison High School, 700 22nd Avenue NE, instead of Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church as previously announced. Director Tim Martin will give the downbeat at 7 pm. The concert, “Getting Back to Normal,” represents the band’s hope for a normal concert season after two years of pandemic shutdowns. Selections include Frank Ticheli’s “Amazing Grace,” “Juba Dance” by African American composer Florence Price and “Colonel Bogey March” by Kenneth Alford.
