Business Consultations with City of Minneapolis: A representative from the City of Minneapolis will meet with business owners and entrepreneurs to share resources (financing, city regulations, and business technical assistance) and assist those who want to start, maintain, or expand a business in the City of Minneapolis. Eviction Expungement Information Session: Expungement is the process of going to court to ask a judge to seal a court record. People request expungement of an eviction record to make it easier to find housing in the future. Attend a virtual information session via Microsoft Teams to learn more about the eviction expungement process and have general questions answered by attorneys. The session is free but registration is required. Expungement court forms will be provided to all registrants. Social Security Disability Benefit 101: Social Security Disability provides a source of income to those who are unable to work due to a severe disability. The presentation will cover two of the basic programs – Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) – and will include information on work requirements for eligibility, income limitations for programs, information Social Security will review when considering a claim, plus options if you are denied Social Security Disability.
