Business Consultations with City of Minneapolis: A representative from the City of Minneapolis will meet with business owners and entrepreneurs to share resources (financing, city regulations, and business technical assistance) and assist those who want to start, maintain, or expand a business in the City of Minneapolis. Virtual Citizenship Workshop: Drop into the library’s online study sessions to practice for your citizenship interview. Work in small groups or individually with a volunteer from Literacy Minnesota. Queer Protest Poetry: There is no single path to poetry and no single way to protest. Queer and trans writers of color have historically resisted exclusion in literary spaces by creating art that uplifted and liberated their communities. Study examples of protest poetry written by these writers, both historic and contemporary, and practice writing poems to honor your own paths of protest.
