Cozy Stories: Children ages 3-5 and their caregivers are invited to celebrate the Winter Solstice with cozy books, songs and fun. Bring children in their comfy clothes so they can go right to bed when you get home. Older and younger siblings welcome. Wednesday, Dec. 21, 6:30-7 pm.
Business Consultations with City of Minneapolis: A representative from the City of Minneapolis will meet with business owners and entrepreneurs to share resources and assist those who want to start, maintain or expand a business in the City of Minneapolis (e.g., financing, city regulations and business technical assistance). No appointment necessary. In English and Spanish. Collaborator: City of Minneapolis Small Business Team. 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month, 2-4 pm.
Virtual Citizenship Workshop: Online study sessions help you practice for your citizenship interview. Work in small groups or individually with a volunteer from Literacy Minnesota. Study English vocabulary, reading, writing and civics. Collaborator: Literacy Minnesota. Classes are held every Tuesday and Thursday, 1-2:30 pm through March 2, 2023. Online event. Eviction Expungement Information Session: Expungement is the process of going to court to ask a judge to seal a court record. People request expungement of an eviction record to make it easier to find housing in the future. Attend a virtual informational session via Microsoft Teams to learn more about the eviction expungement process and have general questions answered by attorneys. The session is free, but registration is required. Expungement court forms will be provided to all registrants. Presented by Central Minnesota Legal Services in partnership with Hennepin County Law Library. Funded by Friends of the Hennepin County Library. Wednesday, Dec. 14, 1:30-2:30 pm.

Career Counseling: Drop in to meet with a career counselor who will give you one-on-one help with your job search, edit your résumé, help you navigate job applications or discuss interview strategies. Bring your résumé or be prepared to share it electronically.
