Baby Storytime: For children birth-24 months and their caregivers. Talk, sing, write and play together. Share books, stories, rhymes, music and movement in a format especially designed for babies. Tuesdays, Jan. 24-Feb. 28, 9:30-10 am.

Business Consultations with City of Minneapolis: A representative from the City of Minneapolis will meet with business owners and entrepreneurs to share resources and assist those who want to start, maintain or expand a business in the City of Minneapolis (e.g., financing, city regulations and business technical assistance). No appointment necessary. In English and Spanish. Collaborator: City of Minneapolis Small Business Team. 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month, 2-4 pm.
Virtual Citizenship Workshop: Online study sessions help you practice for your citizenship interview. Work in small groups or individually with a volunteer from Literacy Minnesota. Study English vocabulary, reading, writing and civics. Collaborator: Literacy Minnesota. Classes are held every Tuesday and Thursday, 1-2:30 pm through March 2, 2023. Online event. Registration required.
Career Counseling: Drop in to meet with a career counselor who will give you one-on-one help with your job search, edit your résumé, help you navigate job applications or discuss interview strategies. Bring your résumé or be prepared to share it electronically. Learn about the various employment and training programs offered by Avivo’s Employment Services department and talk with staff about next steps in enrollment. Collaborator: Avivo Employment Services. Every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month, 2-4 pm.
K-12 Homework Help: Free in-person tutoring for K-12 students. No advance sign-up needed. Every Wednesday and Thursday, Jan. 4-June 1, 4:30-7 pm.
Chess Club: Have fun learning the basics of chess, improving your game, mastering strategies, and meeting other chess fans. All ages and walk-ins welcome. Every Thursday, 4:30-6:30 pm.
